Taxonomies
This Access Condition prevents unauthorized users from being able to visit:
- content containing any or select categories, tags, or custom taxonomy terms
- taxonomy archive pages, e.g. for categories or tags
Good to know: This Access Condition will not hide items from archive pages, search results, widgets, custom lists, or the WP REST API. Hide content completely with the Visibility Control add-on.
Example – Restrict Posts with Category
Only authorized users will be able to visit the posts that contain Category 1 or Category 2.
Example – Restrict Category Archive
Only authorized users will be able to visit the archive pages of Category 3 or Category 4.
