Installation

  1. In the admin panel on your site, navigate to Plugins > Add New
  2. Search for: restrict user access
  3. Click Install Now and then Activate. That’s it!

Install from zip file (alternative)

  1. Download a zip file of the latest version of Restrict User Access here
  2. In the admin panel on your site, navigate to Plugins > Add New
  3. Click Upload Plugin to select the zip file and then Install Now
  4. After installing, click on Activate on the new screen. That’s it!

 

Enable Freemius (optional)

When activating Restrict User Access on a WordPress site for the first time, you’ll be asked to opt-in to Freemius or skip. If you opt-in, you will help improve Restrict User Access by securely sharing some usage data with Freemius. It’s okay to skip it, and the plugin will still work just fine.
