Did you create a Blog page to show your latest posts, or a Shop page to show your products from WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads?

In order to display a specific sidebar on these pages, it is important to understand how they’re handled in WordPress. Generally speaking, when a page displays a list/set of items, it is considered an archive page for items of that type. This means that your Blog page is a Post archive, and your Shop page is a Product archive. This applies to all custom post types.
